Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the organization's technology vision, strategy, and roadmap
- Lead the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of technology products, platforms, and systems
- Align technology initiatives with business objectives to drive growth, efficiency, and innovation
- Oversee software development, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud services, and digital transformation projects
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that provide competitive advantages
- Establish technology standards, policies, and governance frameworks
- Ensure the security, scalability, reliability, and performance of all technology systems
- Lead, mentor, and manage technology teams, including software engineers, IT professionals, product developers, and technical specialists
- Manage technology budgets, resource allocation, and vendor relationships
- Collaborate with executive leadership and department heads to identify and implement technology-driven solutions
- Oversee disaster recovery, business continuity, and cybersecurity risk management initiatives
- Monitor technology performance metrics and drive continuous improvement across all technology functions
- Represent the organization on technology-related matters with stakeholders, partners, investors, and regulatory bodies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Master's Degree (MBA, MSc, or equivalent) is an advantage
- Proven years of progressive experience in technology leadership or related roles
- Proven experience in a senior technology leadership position or similar role
- Strong knowledge of software development, cloud computing, cybersecurity, data management, enterprise systems, and emerging technologies
- Experience leading large-scale digital transformation and technology innovation projects
- Strong strategic planning, business acumen, and decision-making capabilities
- Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and team-building skills
