Chief Security Officer

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement company-wide security policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Conduct risk assessments and identify security vulnerabilities to mitigate potential threats.
• Oversee the installation and maintenance of security systems, including access control, surveillance cameras, and alarm systems.
• Manage a team of security personnel, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners, such as law enforcement agencies and security consultants, to address security concerns and incidents.
• Monitor security threats and trends, and adjust security measures accordingly.
• Develop and conduct security training and awareness programs for employees.
• Prepare and implement emergency response plans and procedures.
• Investigate security incidents and breaches, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience in security management, with at least [X] years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of security best practices, technologies, and trends.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze complex security issues and develop effective solutions.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Certifications such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) preferred.
• Prior military or law enforcement experience a plus.
