Chief Security & Intelligence Officer (CSIO)
Job summary
This is a mandate-led executive role, not a physical security, guard, or enforcement position. The CSIO will operate directly within the CEO Office, providing decision-grade intelligence, threat anticipation, and strategic risk insight that informs executive movement, partnerships, market entry, and asset protection.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Lead corporate intelligence and security strategy at executive level
- Deliver actionable intelligence on geopolitical, operational, and personnel risks
- Advise the CEO on executive travel, exposure, and crisis scenarios
- Oversee executive protection planning and high-risk engagements
- Build and manage intelligence networks and external security relationships
- Anticipate risks linked to expansion, partnerships, and cross-border operations
- 7–12+ years experience in intelligence, security leadership, or strategic risk
- Proven ability to operate independently at director or executive level
- Strong understanding of Nigeria and Pan-African risk environments
- High discretion, judgement, and decision-making maturity
- Existing professional leverage and income stability
- Phase I (0–6 months): Performance-Linked Strategic Mandate
- Compensation is impact-based and uncapped, tied to value protected, risks mitigated, and strategic outcomes delivered.
- Phase II (Executive Retainership): Upon meeting clearly defined mandate outcomes, conversion to a full executive retainership is automatic, with institutional support and long-term positioning
