Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Responsibilities:

• Leading the construction division, guiding strategy, execution and delivery processes and practices.
• Commercial success through balancing time, cost and quality; preparation of bids, project planning, execution, completion and reporting.
• Lead Contract management, communication, negotiation and completion
• Coordinating executive team and supply chain activities in business and project planning.
• Tracking and analysing project performance and recommending courses of action.
• Policy formulation, monitoring and oversight.

Requirements:

• Degree(s) in related professional fields such as Civil, Structural engineering, Architecture, and Building Technology.
• Additional qualifications in Management or Business Administration would be an advantage.
• Professional certifications, eg MNSE, PMP, and equivalent membership of a professional association.
• At least 15 years of professional experience with at least 5 years of executive management experience, including projects, financial, assets and people management experience.
• Proficiency in relevant software, tools and techniques.
• Deep knowledge of regulation, legal and compliance requirements, etc.
• Excellent communication - written and verbal - in interactions, building trust with Board, EXCO and stakeholders.
• Proven track record of leading multi-skilled workforce in project execution, delivery, and structured management approach to achieving desired outcomes.
