Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Executive Support
- Provide high-level operational leadership and serve as a strategic advisor to the Managing Director.
- Translate the company’s vision and strategy into actionable operational plans.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives that enhance overall company performance.
- Represent the MD on operational matters when required.
Production Department oversight
- Lead and manage end-to-end production operations, ensuring optimal output, product quality, and on-time delivery.
- Implement production planning and workflow systems that maximize throughput, minimize waste, and improve turnaround times.
- Ensure alignment of production processes with global standards for security, quality, and compliance.
- Monitor daily performance metrics and enforce adherence to production goals, timelines, and cost parameters.
Maintenance & Engineering Department oversight
- Oversee the maintenance and engineering function to guarantee equipment reliability, availability, and safety.
- Implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs that minimize downtime and extend asset life cycles.
- Ensure engineering projects, upgrades, and installations are executed efficiently and in alignment with operational requirements.
- Maintain robust documentation for all maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory and audit standards.
Information Technology & Projects Department oversight
- Provide strategic leadership for IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, systems integration, and digital transformation.
- Oversee enterprise-wide project management, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with strategic and operational objectives.
- Champion automation and technology-driven solutions that improve efficiency, data integrity, and operational accuracy.
- Ensure IT systems support production, QA/QC, security, access control, and operational reporting needs.
Quality Assurance & Quality Control Department oversight
- Strengthen the QA/QC framework to ensure all products, processes, and operations meet client expectations and regulatory requirements.
- Lead the enforcement and sustainability of certifications such as ISO 9001, PCI-DSS, and other relevant industry standards.
- Develop and track quality metrics, conducting root-cause analyses and implementing corrective/preventive actions where necessary.
- Champion a culture of quality, operational discipline, and continuous improvement across all operational areas.
Security & Risk Department oversight
- Provide oversight for physical and operational security, including facility protection, access control, surveillance, and compliance with security protocols.
- Lead enterprise risk management initiatives, ensuring identification, mitigation, and monitoring of operational, technological, and compliance risks.
- Ensure adherence to all security standards related to production, data handling, card issuance processes, and employee conduct.
- Promote a security-conscious culture across all departments, with strict enforcement of policies and procedure compliance.
Vault & Logistics Department Oversight
- Oversee secure handling, storage, and movement of sensitive materials, finished products, and high-value items within the Vault & Logistics unit.
- Ensure strict adherence to inventory control procedures, reconciliation protocols, and audit requirements.
- Optimize logistics processes to support timely production inputs and efficient distribution of finished goods to customers.
- Maintain accurate documentation, accountability structures, and strict compliance with regulatory and client-mandated security standards.
Leadership, Governance, and Reporting
- Provide effective leadership to departmental heads, ensuring clarity of deliverables, accountability, and continuous professional development.
- Promote cross-functional collaboration, transparency, and data-driven decision-making across all operational units.
- Build a culture of high performance, operational discipline, customer-centricity, and innovation.
- Deliver timely operational updates, performance reports, and strategic recommendations to the Managing Director and the Board.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 20-25 years of progressively responsible experience in operational leadership roles.
- Prior experience at a senior management or executive level in any of the Card manufacturing, Digital payment, FinTech, IT services, and ICT firms.
- B.Eng./B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, and Mechanical Engineering. An MBA is an added advantage.
- Be a mature and grounded leader with the ability to inspire confidence.
- Have a strong understanding of operational workflows in production or service-driven environments.
- Have a Hands-on leadership capability to balance strategy with execution.
- Have a strong cultural alignment, emotional intelligence, and the ability to build trust across all levels.
