Chief Operating Officer
Job summary
We are seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to provide executive oversight of the company's operations and turn strategic priorities into effective execution.

Responsibilities:
- Translate the Founders' strategic priorities into clear operational plans, targets, and measurable objectives.
- Oversee day-to-day operations across the company's business portfolios
- Coordinate department heads and ensure departments operate against clear KPIs and deadlines.
- Develop, implement, and monitor company policies, SOPs, and operational processes.
- Monitor major projects, timelines, deliverables, budgets and resource utilisation.
- Oversee procurement and vendor performance to ensure quality, compliance and value for money.
- Identify operational risks, recurring problems and bottlenecks and implement practical solutions.
- Work with HR to strengthen organisational structure, leadership and workforce performance.
- Hold department heads accountable for agreed targets and deliverables.
- Prepare accurate weekly and monthly management reports for the Founders.
- Establish systems that reduce unnecessary Founder involvement in routine operational matters.
- Support profitability, operational efficiency, customer experience, and sustainable business growth.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Real Estate, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience, including significant experience in senior management or operational leadership.
- Experience in real estate, construction, property development, hospitality, professional services or a related multi-functional business environment is preferred.
- Proven experience leading teams and managing multiple departments or business functions.
- Strong understanding of operational systems, performance management, budgeting and process improvement.
- Strong commercial awareness, strategic thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder-management skills.
- High level of integrity, discretion, accountability and professional judgment
- Ability to work independently, make decisions and take ownership of business outcomes.

Remuneration: NGN 800,000 net monthly salary
