Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Partner with the CEO to define, prioritise, and drive strategic initiatives across the organization
- Lead cross-functional projects and ensure alignment with company goals
- Prepare strategic briefs, business cases, and executive summaries for decision-making.
- Manage the CEO’s priorities, ensuring time is spent on the highest-impact activities.
- Coordinate and prepare materials for board meetings, investor updates, and leadership off-sites.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, partners, and regulators.
- Represent the CEO in meetings and communications when required.
- Manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Lead or support change management efforts during periods of transformation or growth.
- Develop frameworks and playbooks for repeatable success across strategic initiatives.
- Ensure accountability and follow-through on key decisions and action items.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks in internal processes to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Oversee special projects and ensure timely execution of strategic initiatives.
- Monitor key business metrics and provide regular performance updates to the executive team.
- Foster alignment and collaboration across leadership and functional teams.
- Support internal communications and ensure consistent messaging from the executive office.
- Champion organizational culture and values, working closely with People & Culture teams.
- Conduct market, competitor, and industry research to inform strategic decisions.
- Analyze business performance data and synthesize insights for executive reporting.
Core Duties
- Drive strategic alignment across departments by ensuring clarity of goals, priorities, and execution plans.
- Facilitate executive decision-making by preparing data-driven reports, dashboards, and recommendations.
- Manage the rhythm of the business, including leadership meetings, quarterly planning, and performance reviews.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives that require coordination across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Act as a gatekeeper and filter for the CEO’s time, ensuring focus on high-impact activities.
- Support crisis management and issue resolution, providing structure and clarity during high-pressure situations.
- Ensure timely follow-up on action items from meetings, decisions, and strategic discussions.
- Develop and maintain internal communication frameworks to ensure transparency and alignment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Support talent development and succession planning in collaboration with HR and leadership.
- Oversee special projects and strategic experiments, from ideation to execution and evaluation.
- Continuously improving operational processes, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing scalable solutions.
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, or a related field
- Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in strategy, consulting, operations, or executive support roles with a background in management consulting and core strategy
- Proven track record of managing complex projects and driving cross-functional alignment
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- High emotional intelligence and the ability to navigate sensitive situations
- Proficiency in productivity tools (e.g, Microsoft Office)
