Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with the bank’s business goals.
- Lead brand development, positioning, and communications strategies across all channels.
- Oversee market research and analysis to identify growth opportunities and trends.
- Drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention through targeted campaigns.
- Manage digital and traditional marketing efforts, including social media, PR, advertising, and events.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, sales, and operations to ensure alignment.
- Build and mentor a high-performing marketing team.
- Monitor KPIs and ROI of marketing initiatives and optimize performance accordingly.
- Champion innovation in marketing technology and data-driven decision-making.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA or professional marketing certification is a plus).
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership/executive role within the financial services, microfinance.
- Strong understanding of the Nigerian financial market and customer behavior.
- Proven track record of brand building, digital transformation, and marketing-led growth.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to marketing.
- Experience in customer segmentation, campaign management, and CRM systems
