Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial planning and management of the operations of our client. The CFO, who must have a background in the banking industry will be responsible for overseeing financial strategy, reporting, budgeting, and risk management.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business goals.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Oversee accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, capital expenditures, and working capital.
- Analyse financial performance and recommend improvements to increase profitability and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and industry standards.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to guide business decisions using financial data.
- Manage relationships with auditors, investors, and regulatory bodies.
- Support strategic initiatives, such as mergers, acquisitions, and capital investments.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Experience in the Banking industry is key.
- Chartered Accountant (FCA,ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) or a relevant professional financial qualification.
- An MBA or other relevant postgraduate qualification is a plus.
- Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency with financial software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel skills for financial modelling and reporting.
