Chief Financial Officer

• Execute all accounting transactions and effect necessary reconciliations of outstanding transactions
  
• Daily, weekly and monthly reconciliation of all accounts
  
• Maintaining accounting documents and records
  
• Ensure that staff who need to use financial procedures are aware of them, understand them and correctly apply them
  
• Ensure filing of monthly VAT returns with FIRS
  
• Preparation and remittance of statutory deductions schedule and payment at the appropriate time
  
• Maintaining a good relationship with the transaction manager of the bank in processing client’s payment
  
• Payment of contract stamp to FIRS monthly
  
• Processing payment of staff salary and pension
  
• Verifying client’s payment and bank charges
  
• Issuing of cheques on behalf of the company where required
  
• Investigate and resolve customer queries on payments
• Assist in the successful and timely preparation of final accounts for statutory audit purposes.
• Ensure timely payment of bills (electricity, LAWMA)
• Preparation of bank reconciliation statement on all account
• Inputting all journal entries on Excel
• Verifying customer’s payment request by calling to ensure payment is been made to the right customer
• Printing and filing of payment voucher
• Submission of correspondence to the bank
• And such other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree (min. of 2nd class upper)/HND (upper credit) in accounting
  
• Relevant professional certificates such as ACCA and ICAN
  
• Minimum of 3-4 years experience in a similar role
  
• Analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail
  
• Excellent Communication and computer system skills
  
• In-depth knowledge of fund/asset management operations and requirements
  
• SEC-sponsored individual is an added advantage
