Job descriptions & requirements
- Develop and implement financial strategy aligned to business goals, and advise the CEO and executive team.
- Lead long-term planning, forecasting, and periodic management reporting on hospital financial performance.
- Lead capital budgeting and financing for endoscopic, laparoscopic, laser, and imaging technology.
- Manage cash flow, liquidity, and debt; oversee value-driven procurement of surgical consumables and equipment.
- Oversee financial statements, budgeting, cost control, and departmental spend adherence.
- Supervise accounting to standards, ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, and coordinate external audits.
- Own regulatory, tax, and corporate governance compliance and internal control systems.
- Lead the revenue cycle: billing, coding, collections, payer relations, HMO, and corporate partnerships.
- Monitor claims turnaround, denial rates, and cash flow; oversee banking relationships and capital structure.
- Present financial analysis to the executive team and board; lead and mentor the finance team.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field.
- A master's degree (MBA or MSc in Finance/Accounting) is highly desirable.
- Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, ICAN)
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
- At least 5 years in a senior financial leadership role.
- Experience in private healthcare, surgical centres, or specialty hospitals is an added advantage.
- Experience in financial planning, corporate finance, and risk management.
