Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies, long-term plans, and budgets to achieve organisational goals.
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
- Analyse financial risks, manage liquidity, and oversee the company's overall risk management framework.
- Manage daily cash flow, oversee investment strategies, and manage debt and capital structure.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the finance and accounting departments, including hiring and assigning tasks.
- Ensure the company adheres to all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Maintain relationships with external stakeholders such as investors, banks, and vendors.
- Monitor the company's financial performance, analyse variances, and propose corrective actions to improve profitability.
Requirements:
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Deep understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Expertise in financial analysis, risk management, and compliance.
- Experience with financial software and advanced spreadsheet skills.
- Proven ability to develop and execute financial strategies.
- A background in finance, economics, or a related field, with advanced degrees being preferred.
