Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, sales, and expenses.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports for management review.
- Handle bank reconciliations, deposits, and payment processing.
- Track inventory costs, sales income, and cash flow related to store operations.
- Support budget preparation, expense tracking, and cost control measures.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Liaise with auditors, vendors, and internal departments as required.
- Assist in payroll preparation and petty cash management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting, preferably in retail or FMCG.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Zoho, Sage).
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Good communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.
