The Chef will support the Research and Development team by contributing culinary expertise to product innovation, formulation, testing, and improvement. The role involves translating food concepts into scalable products, ensuring consistency, quality, and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of new food products by creating and testing recipes aligned with company objectives
- Translate conceptual ideas into practical formulations suitable for large-scale manufacturing
- Conduct product trials, tastings, and sensory evaluations to refine flavour, texture, and presentation
- Collaborate with R&D and production teams to ensure product feasibility and consistency during scale-up
- Modify existing recipes to improve quality, shelf life, cost efficiency, and nutritional value
- Maintain accurate documentation of recipes, processes, and test results
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, hygiene standards, and company policies
- Support sourcing and evaluation of raw materials and ingredients for product development
- Stay updated on food trends, consumer preferences, and innovative culinary techniques
- Assist in troubleshooting production challenges related to product formulation and preparation
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Culinary Arts, Food Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a chef, preferably within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- Experience in product development or industrial food production is an advantage.
- Understanding of food safety standards and quality control practices.
