Chartered Financial Accountant
Job summary
The Chartered Financial Accountant will oversee the company’s financial management, reporting, and compliance. The role will provide financial insights to support strategic decisions, manage budgeting and expenditure, ensure accurate financial records, and maintain tax and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in line with IFRS.
- Develop management reports and dashboards to support decision-making.
- Manage budgets, monitor operational and capital expenditures, and perform variance analysis.
- Oversee cash flow planning, treasury activities, and banking relationships.
- Ensure timely filing of statutory taxes, including CIT, VAT, WHT, and PAYE
- Implement and maintain strong internal financial controls.
- Supervise the Operational Accountant and review financial transactions.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure compliance with financial policies.
- Provide financial analysis on company performance and project profitability.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Must be a Chartered Accountant (ICAN, ACCA, or CPA).
- Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in financial accounting or management reporting.
- Experience in real estate, construction, or property development is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and Nigerian tax regulations.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
