Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and records.
Manage the company’s general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management.
Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
Coordinate and support internal and external audits.
Prepare and file tax returns, VAT, PAYE, and other statutory remittances.
Monitor financial performance and recommend cost-control and efficiency improvement measures.
Ensure proper documentation and safeguarding of financial records.
Advise management on financial planning, risk management, and investment decisions.
Maintain strong internal controls to protect company assets and ensure financial integrity.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
ICAN certification is mandatory.
Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws, financial reporting standards, and statutory compliance.
Proficiency in accounting software (such as Sage, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems) and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
