Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Receive and process customer payments accurately via cash, POS, and other accepted payment methods
- Issue receipts and ensure every transaction is properly recorded
- Balance the cash register at the start and end of every shift without discrepancies
- Maintain accurate daily transaction records and reports.
- Monitor and report cash shortages, float discrepancies, or suspicious transactions
Requirements:
- Minimum of Senior School Certificate Examination or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Cashier or in a similar customer-facing role is an advantage
- Strong numerical skills and ability to handle cash with accuracy and integrity
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Honest, responsible, and highly detail-oriented
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Smart appearance and professional conduct at all times
