Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

Greet customers warmly and provide friendly assistance
Scan, itemise, and process customer purchases
Receive payments via cash, POS, transfer, or other payment methods
Issue receipts, refunds, or change to customers
Maintain an accurate cash drawer and reconcile transactions at the end of shifts
Respond to customer inquiries and resolve minor complaints
Ensure the checkout area is clean, organised, and well-stocked
Verify prices and promotional discounts
Assist with bagging and packaging items
Follow company policies on transaction handling and customer service

Requirements:

Good communication skills
Basic math and calculation skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Customer service orientation
Ability to work under pressure
Honesty and reliability
Familiarity with POS systems (an advantage)
