Responsibilities:
- The individual will accurately handle cash, checks, and other payments, including cashing checks and processing savings/checking withdrawals.
- The individual will balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
- The individual will greet customers, address inquiries, and provide excellent customer service.
- The individual will verify customer identities and follow all bank procedures and federal regulations to prevent fraud.
- The individual will prepare currency for deposit, scan checks, and maintain accurate electronic records of all transactions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or any related field.
- Close attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong basic math and numerical skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in using banking software and office equipment.
