Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position as a Caregiver located in Lagos State, Nigeria. The primary responsibilities include assisting clients with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, hygiene, mobility, medication management, and light housekeeping. Caregivers also provide companionship, monitor client well-being, and report any significant changes in their condition to supervisors or medical personnel. Strong interpersonal communication and the ability to maintain a caring and professional demeanor are essential to this role.
Qualifications
- Experience in caregiving, personal care, or assisting with daily living activities
- Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients
- Basic knowledge of health and safety practices, including understanding of medication management and emergency response
- Organizational and time management skills to effectively assist with scheduling and day-to-day client care tasks
- High level of empathy, patience, and a genuine interest in improving client well-being
- Able to work on-site in Lagos State, Nigeria
- Previous healthcare experience or certifications, such as First Aid or CPR training, is an asset
