Pathfinder Consulting is expanding its Career Coaching Unit and seeks an experienced Career Coach to guide clients through career planning, CV and LinkedIn optimisation, job search strategy, interview preparation and progress tracking. The ideal candidate must be organised, empathetic and results-driven.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct structured one-on-one career coaching and career-clarity sessions.
- Assess clients’ education, professional experience, skills, strengths, interests and career goals.
- Help clients identify realistic career paths, target roles and industries.
- Conduct skill-gap assessments and recommend relevant training, certifications, or development activities.
- Develop personalized career action plans with clear goals and timelines.
- Review and improve clients’ CVs, résumés, cover letters and professional biographies.
- Help clients present their responsibilities and achievements using measurable and results-focused language.
- Optimize LinkedIn profiles for recruiter visibility and alignment with target roles.
- Research suitable job titles, industries, employers, and employment market requirements.
- Develop practical job-search, networking, and recruiter-outreach strategies.
- Teach clients how to analyse job descriptions and tailor applications.
- Conduct mock interviews and provide clear, constructive feedback.
- Prepare clients for behavioural, competency-based, leadership and role-specific interviews.
- Support clients with salary negotiation and offer evaluation.
- Assist internationally mobile clients with sponsorship-related job-search preparation without providing regulated immigration advice.
- Track client activities, applications, interviews, and overall progress.
- Follow up on client tasks, deadlines, and agreed action points.
- Maintain accurate coaching notes, client records and internal trackers.
- Identify disengaged, inactive, or dissatisfied clients and escalate concerns promptly.
- Facilitate webinars, workshops, group-coaching sessions, and accountability activities.
- Support engagement within the company’s online career community.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and case reviews.
- Submit weekly and monthly reports on client progress and service delivery.
Requirements;
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Education, Business Administration, Communications, Sociology or a related field.
- A minimum of three years of relevant experience in career coaching, recruitment, talent acquisition, human resources, employability services, workforce development or client success.
- Strong knowledge of CV and résumé development.
- Experience with LinkedIn optimization and professional branding.
- Good understanding of recruitment, job search, and interview processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong research, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple clients, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Ability to provide firm but respectful feedback.
- Ability to work independently within a remote team.
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity.
- Reliable computer, stable internet connection, and a professional workspace.
Preferred Requirements:
- Career coaching, recruitment, or human-resources certification.
- Previous recruitment or talent-acquisition experience.
- Experience supporting immigrants, career changers, or internationally trained professionals.
- Knowledge of employment markets in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, or Europe.
- Experience supporting candidates seeking visa-sponsored employment.
- Experience facilitating virtual workshops or managing an online professional community.
