Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Captain E170/190 based in Lagos. The Captain will be responsible for leading the safe operation of the E170/190 aircraft, ensuring adherence to all regulatory and safety requirements. Key responsibilities include flight planning, pre-flight briefings, navigation, and ensuring passenger and crew safety during flights. The Captain is expected to work closely with the First Officer, cabin crew, and ground operations to maintain smooth and efficient operations.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience operating E170/190 aircraft and valid Type Rating
- Thorough knowledge of aviation safety standards, flight operations, and procedures
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team and under high-pressure situations
- Current Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) with a valid medical certificate
- Minimum flight hour requirements as stipulated by relevant aviation authorities
- Experience in similar roles and familiarity with international and regional flight operations is an advantage
