Company Description Haegmon Travels is a CAC-registered travel consultancy committed to providing exceptional travel solutions, including flight reservations, visa assistance, holiday packages, travel insurance, and corporate travel management. We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Sales Representative to join our growing team.
Role Description The Sales Representative will be responsible for developing sales strategies, identifying
new business opportunities, generating leads, converting prospects into loyal clients, and promoting the company’s travel services. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills, with a passion for sales and the travel industry requirements.
Responsibilities:
· Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through door to door, cold calling, referrals, networking, business presentations and digital channels.
· Promote and sell the company’s travel services, including flight bookings, visa assistance, tour packages, travel insurance, and other travel-related solutions.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with individual and corporate clients.
· Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide professional travel advice.
· Forecast sales, develop “out of the box” sales strategies/models and evaluate their effectiveness
· Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and travel packages tailored to clients’
needs.
· Follow up on leads and convert prospects into paying customers.
· Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
· Maintain accurate customer records using CRM systems or other sales tracking tools.
· Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery.
· Stay informed about travel trends, airline promotions, visa requirements, and tourism opportunities.
· Represent the company at networking events, exhibitions, and promotional activities when required.
· Prepare periodic sales reports and provide market feedback to management.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication, Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field.
· Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience in sales, business development, customer service, or the travel industry (unofficial sales experience can be considered).
· Experience in a travel agency or travel consultancy is an added advantage.
· Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
· Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
· Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
· Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
· Familiarity with CRM software is an added advantage.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Strong organizational, administrative and time-management skills.
· Professional appearance and a customer-focused attitude.
