Business Sales Advisor
Job summary
The Business Advisor will serve as a primary consultant for professionals seeking international career opportunities. You will be responsible for managing leads generated through our website, providing expert guidance on global job market requirements, and facilitating the transition of candidates into shortage occupation roles across the UK, North America, Europe, and Australia. This will be a hybrid role, mostly working from home and only going to the office by appointment if you live in a city where we have an office.

Responsibilities:
- Client Consultation & Follow-up: Represent the company by proactively following up with potential clients via phone and email.
- Advisory & Education: Educate applicants on the specific requirements for working in target regions (UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, Australia, Switzerland, and the EU) using website resources and internal guidelines.
- Career Pathway Planning: Guide clients through our suite of services, including overseas employer searches, career enhancement, and specialised international training with foreign partner companies.
- Global Placement Support: Assist clients in identifying needs for work placements or internships to enhance their "global attractiveness" to European and American recruiters.
- Skilled Worker Facilitation: Advise clients on qualifying for shortage occupation and skilled worker visas, providing complimentary guidance on their international travel plans.
- Digital Engagement: Participate in remote training and departmental briefings via Microsoft Teams to stay updated on global immigration and recruitment policies.
- Policy Compliance: Ensure all advisory services and client interactions strictly adhere to company terms, conditions, and operational policies.
Requirements:
- A degree in business administration, international relations, human resources, or a related field.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; must be able to explain complex international career requirements clearly and professionally.
- Experience in consultative sales, recruitment, or advisory roles with a focus on high-level customer service.
- Basic understanding of the job markets in the UK, EU, and North America (knowledge of "shortage occupation" lists is a significant plus).
- Comfortable using Microsoft Teams for remote meetings and CRM/email tools for lead management.
- Ability to manage a high volume of inquiries and maintain accurate records of client progress.
