Responsibilities:
Business Development & Sales:
- Identify, evaluate, and develop new business opportunities within the oil and gas EPC sector, including upstream, midstream, and downstream projects.
- Actively manage and grow key client accounts, ensuring long-term relationships with operators, IOCs, NOCs, service companies, and strategic partners.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation and opportunity qualification to contract negotiation and closure.
- Negotiate commercial terms, contracts, and service agreements to achieve favourable outcomes aligned with company objectives.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline and provide accurate sales forecasts, reports, and performance updates to management.
Bid, Tender & Proposal Management:
- Coordinate and manage bid and tender submissions, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with client requirements.
- Oversee the preparation of high-quality technical and commercial proposals, working closely with engineering, procurement, and finance teams.
- Review tender documents, identify risks and opportunities, and ensure proposals meet industry, regulatory, and company standards.
Procurement & Operational Oversight:
- Oversee procurement processes to ensure cost-effectiveness, supplier reliability, and adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Support vendor evaluation, selection, and performance management in line with project and operational requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align procurement activities with project schedules and business priorities.
Strategy & Market Intelligence:
- Contribute to the development and execution of the company’s business strategy and growth plans.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments within the oil and gas sector.
- Identify new growth areas, service offerings, and partnership opportunities to enhance the company’s competitive positioning.
Reporting & Collaboration:
- Prepare regular performance reports on sales activities, pipeline status, procurement outcomes, and strategic initiatives.
- Work closely with the COO and senior management to support decision-making and operational planning.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- A postgraduate qualification (MBA or relevant master’s degree) is an added advantage.
- Professional certifications in sales, procurement, project management, or oil and gas operations are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business development, technical sales, operations, or procurement within the oil and gas or EPC sector.
- Proven experience managing bids, tenders, and complex commercial negotiations.
- Strong understanding of oil and gas EPC processes, procurement cycles, and contract structures.
- Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales and business growth targets.
- Experience working with IOCs, NOCs, EPC contractors, and key industry stakeholders is highly desirable.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), and industry-related software (e.g., AutoCAD, Primavera P6) is an advantage.
