The Business Operations Lead is responsible for overseeing and integrating end-to-end operational functions across Production, Supply Chain, Sales Operations, Technical Support, and Distributor Management to ensure efficiency, compliance, profitability, and strategic growth.

Responsibilities:
Strategic Operations Leadership:
- Translate corporate strategy into operational execution plans.
- Oversee production planning, supply chain management, and order fulfillment.
- Align sales operations with manufacturing capacity.
- Drive operational efficiency and cost optimization initiatives.
- Lead cross-functional operational review meetings.
Production & Manufacturing:
- OversightMonitor production schedules and output targets.
- Ensure manufacturing processes meet quality and regulatory standards.
- Oversee batch traceability and product documentation.
- Monitor yield, wastage, and production efficiency metrics.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance for product release.
Supply Chain & Inventory Management:
- Supervise procurement planning for raw materials.
- Ensure optimal stock levels of finished goods.
- Prevent stock-outs and overstock situations.
- Oversee import/export logistics for distributor shipments.
- Monitor cold chain integrity where required.
Distributor Operations Management:
- Ensure efficient order processing for distributors.
- Monitor distributor performance and order patterns.
- Coordinate shipment schedules and documentation.
- Support contract compliance and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Resolve operational escalations affecting distributors.
Technical Support & After-Sales Coordination:
- Ensure timely installation and commissioning of equipment.
- Monitor preventive maintenance compliance.
- Track service response times and first-time-fix rates.
- Oversee spare parts inventory management.
- Review service performance reports.
Financial & Commercial Operations Support:
- Align operational activities with revenue targets.
- Monitor cost of goods sold (COGS).
- Support pricing and margin analysis.
- Review credit approval impacts on order fulfilment.
- Participate in budgeting and forecasting.
Quality & Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure operational alignment with ISO 9001 requirements.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Monitor CAPA implementation.
- Ensure documentation control and traceability.
- Maintain compliance with medical device/IVD regulatory standards.
Risk Management:
- Identify operational bottlenecks.
- Mitigate supply chain disruptions.
- Monitor regulatory risks.
- Ensure business continuity planning.
- Develop contingency strategies for production or import delays.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
- Develop and monitor operational KPIs.
- Present monthly operational reports to management.
- Analyze trends in production, fulfilment, and service.
- Lead performance improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- MBA or advanced management certification is an advantage.
Requirements:
- Minimum 8–12 years of experience in operations management.
- Experience in medical devices, IVD manufacturing, or regulated industries is required.
- Experience managing distributor networks.
