Job Description: Mining Solutions Business Manager (West Africa)
(I) Overseas Mining Project Development & Client Expansion
- Focus on overseas mining project opportunities, targeting mining owners, mining contractors, mining engineering companies (EPC/EPCM), large mining groups, and relevant government institutions to systematically develop mining projects and expand client networks.
- Conduct systematic research on mining industry policies, market landscape, customer needs, and competitor dynamics in the region; identify potential mining clients (including mining enterprises, contractors, etc.), establish a mining client database, and formulate targeted market entry and client development strategies.
- Explore opportunities for equipment procurement, integrated equipment configurations, and mining solutions based on the needs of mine construction, extraction, and operations, promoting the comprehensive application of XCMG products in mining projects.
(II) Mining Solutions Planning & Product Introduction
- Deeply understand the process flows, construction organization, and operational scenarios of different mining projects; lead or participate in developing mining equipment configuration plans and integrated solutions, covering excavation, loading, transportation, auxiliary construction, and aftermarket services.
- Collaborate with R&D, technical, marketing, and service teams to promote the alignment and continuous optimization of mining project solutions with XCMG products, improving project closure rates and customer loyalty.
(III) Mining Project Commercial Execution & Major Project Management
- Lead or deeply participate in preliminary research, commercial planning, bidding support, partnership model design, and commercial negotiations for mining projects, driving projects from opportunity identification to contract finalization.
- Participate in key milestone reviews and project advancement for mining projects, coordinating internal resources to ensure the smooth implementation of priority mining projects.
(IV) Market & Strategic Support
- Contribute to the research and formulation of the company’s global mining business strategy, providing inputs from mining projects and client needs for market entry strategies, medium-to-long-term planning, and annual business objectives.
- Based on mining project characteristics and client profiles, propose optimization suggestions for mining client marketing models, partnership approaches, and business execution paths, promoting replicable and scalable mining business development models.
- Monitor trends in the mining industry and evolving client needs, continuously refining mining business models and solution directions to enhance XCMG’s competitiveness in the global mining market.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Mining Machinery, Construction Machinery, International Trade, Business Management, or related fields.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the mining or construction machinery industry, with practical background in overseas mining projects or international mining markets.
- Familiar with mining project construction and operational scenarios, with systematic understanding of mining equipment selection, integrated equipment configuration, construction organization, and mining service models.
- Experience in sales of mining machinery, construction machinery, or large project-based equipment; successful mining project cases are preferred.
- Proficient in English or French, able to conduct independent overseas business communication and project negotiations (bilingual English-French ability is preferred).
