Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Support project development in solar PV and distribution networks.
- Conduct research, engage partners, analyze requirements, and draft solutions.
- Coordinate commercial aspects throughout the project cycle.
- Facilitate negotiations and champion project implementation.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a B.Sc. qualification
- Minimum of 3 years of experience.
- Proven hands-on experience in bidding with multilateral financial institutions (e.g., AfDB, World Bank).
- In-depth understanding of tendering processes, rules, and documentation standards.
- Strong business development background in the power sector, with knowledge of African power market policies.
- A well-established business network in Nigeria’s power industry (project owners, suppliers, local partners).
- Demonstrated track record of contributing to successful project awards.
- The candidate must be between the ages of 35 to 45.
- Willing to travel across West Africa.
- Strong stress tolerance and cross-cultural communication skills.
- Candidates with direct AfDB/World Bank project success will be prioritized.
Renumeration Guidance:
- NGN 400,000 – 600,000: Candidates with industry knowledge but limited direct bidding experience.
- NGN 700,000– 900,000: Mid–senior candidates with proven project participation.
- NGN 1,000,000– 1,200,000+: Top-tier candidates with AfDB/World Bank project wins & strong industry influence.
