Business Development and Transmission Line Support Manager
Job summary
We are currently delivering a large-scale, nationwide EPC Power Transmission Project across Nigeria. We are seeking a highly driven Business Development Manager to help identify, develop, and secure new power and energy opportunities while supporting our ongoing transmission infrastructure projects.
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop power and energy project opportunities across target states (Lagos, Abuja, Anambra, Benue, Ebonyi, Ekiti, Enugu, Kaduna, Kwara, Ogun, Ondo, Osun, and Oyo).
- Collect project leads, tender notices, government plans, private investments, and competitor data.
- Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, utilities, project owners, consultants, and local partners.
- Support client visits, technical/commercial discussions, pre-qualification, bid submission, and follow-ups.
- Prepare regular project reports while ensuring all activities are legal, compliant, and transparent.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy, Power Systems, Civil Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years of commercial, business development, or tendering experience with a strong background in Power, Energy, or EPC.
- Deep understanding of Nigeria’s power sector institutions (e.g., TCN, NERC, NBET, NDPHC, REA, DisCos, GenCos).
- Proven stakeholder coordination, strong execution capability, and a results-oriented mindset.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Experience working with Chinese or international EPC companies.
Working Conditions & Compensation:
- Highly competitive and negotiable based on experience and resources. Package includes a fixed base salary, performance bonuses, project success incentives, and travel support.
- Shared company accommodation (2–3 per room) and daily transportation to/from the workplace are provided. (Candidates must provide their own laptop; meals are self-prepared in a shared kitchen).
- Due to project demands, overtime and short-term assignments across various project states (e.g., Lagos, Ogun, Kwara, Ondo, Enugu) may be required. Overtime is paid in accordance with company policy.
