Xavier Reptoriz PLC is recruiting a proactive and results-driven Business Development / SME Loan Officer to support our lending operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing SME clients, processing loan applications, managing loan portfolios, and driving business growth while ensuring excellent customer service and loan performance.

Responsibilities:
- Source and onboard SME clients through effective business development and marketing activities
- Evaluate, process, and recommend SME loan applications
- Conduct credit analysis and risk assessments in line with company policies.
- Manage and monitor SME loan portfolios to ensure timely repayments
- Follow up on loan repayments and minimize default rates
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Achieve assigned sales, disbursement, and portfolio targets
- Maintain accurate loan records and client documentation
- Stay informed on lending regulations, market trends, and best practices
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure efficient service delivery
Requirements:
- Minimum qualification: OND / HND / B.Sc. in any relevant discipline
- 1 – 5 years of experience in sales, marketing, banking, microfinance, or financial services
- Experience in SME lending or loan marketing is an added advantage
- Basic to strong knowledge of credit principles and risk management
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Target-driven, self-motivated, and result-oriented
- Ability to work and meet deadlines
