Role Description
This is a contract base full-time, on-site role for a Business Development Officer, based in Port-Harcourt. The Business Development Officer will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, analyzing market trends, and contributing to the creation and execution of strategies to drive revenue growth. Daily tasks will include managing customer inquiries, collaborating with internal teams, and ensuring exceptional customer service to achieve business objectives.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in New Business Development and strong skills in identifying and pursuing business opportunities.
- Excellent Analytical Skills and Finance-related capabilities to assess market trends and prepare actionable business strategies.
- Outstanding Communication and Customer Service skills to effectively engage with clients and ensure enhanced customer satisfaction.
- Proficiency in crafting and implementing strategic plans to meet organizational goals effectively.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrate strong organizational skills, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Prior experience in the industrial or engineering sector is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree/HND in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.

- Excellent use of Microsoft suits (Word, Outlook, Excel & PowerPoint) on desktop and on mobile - (must have)
