Business Development Officer

Responsibilities:

• Market research, proposal creation and management of new and existing projects.
• Valuable lead generation and follow-up, as well as closing new business deals
• Drafting sales contracts in compliance with law-established rules and guidelines
• Setting and following through with yearly goals and objectives, ensuring that monthly targets are met.
• Identifying company opportunities and following through with harnessing them, while marketing the company's products.
• Providing business development counsel and support to other areas of the business where needed.
• Maintaining company standards and augmenting her reputation amongst competitors
• Analyzing current and past financial data and providing strategies to cut costs and increase revenue
• Providing training and mentoring to other members of the team

Requirements:

• BSc, B.A, HND in Management, Social Sciences or Humanity field
• At least 3 - 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or any related field
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
• Innovative and creative thinking
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Commendable business acumen

Remuneration: NGN 80,000 - 150,000 monthly
