Job summary

The Business Development Officer is responsible for identifying business opportunities, generating leads, building client relationships, and driving revenue growth for the organization. The role involves developing strategic partnerships, promoting the company’s services, and supporting the achievement of business expansion goals.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase company revenue and market presence.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Generate leads through networking, referrals, market research, and strategic outreach.
  • Prepare and deliver business proposals, presentations, and negotiations with prospective clients.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and business reports.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales and business growth targets.
  • Represent the company at meetings, events, and networking opportunities.
  • Monitor customer feedback and provide recommendations for service improvement.
  • Perform other business development duties as assigned by management.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree/HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Economics, or any related field.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, marketing, or client relationship management.
  • Experience in the real estate industry is an added advantage.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to identify opportunities and convert leads into business.
  • Excellent presentation and networking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools is an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet targets effectively
