Job summary

We are seeking a smart, results-driven, and proactive business development officer to drive sales growth, expand market reach, and build strong client relationships within the paint and construction industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing customers, and supporting revenue growth through strategic sales and business development activities.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for the company’s paint products and services\
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, contractors, retailers, and corporate clients.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
  • Generate leads, follow up on prospects, and convert them into paying customers
  • Prepare and present business proposals, quotations, and product presentations to clients
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall business growth
  • Coordinate with production and warehouse teams to ensure timely product delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and business opportunities
  • Attend meetings, trade exhibitions, and networking events to promote the company’s products
  • Support management with business growth strategies and market expansion initiatives
  • Ensure excellent customer service and prompt resolution of client complaints or concerns


Requirements:

  • Minimum of B.Sc. in business administration, marketing, sales, or any related field
  • Previous experience in business development, sales, or marketing is required 
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to generate leads and close sales deals
  • Good understanding of sales, marketing, and customer relationship management
  • Ability to work independently and achieve targets
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing and warehousing environment
  • Professional attitude and strong work ethic


Remuneration: NGN 250,000 Monthly Net
