Business Development Manager
Job summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive business growth, increase revenue, and expand market presence for our catering services. The ideal candidate will identify new business opportunities, develop strategic partnerships, secure corporate and individual catering contracts, and maintain strong client relationships.

Responsibilities:
Business Development & Sales:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within corporate, hospitality, educational, healthcare, and event sectors.
- Develop and implement effective sales and business growth strategies.
- Generate leads through networking, referrals, cold calling, digital platforms, and industry events.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and catering proposals to prospective clients.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements to secure profitable business deals.
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Conduct regular client visits to understand customer needs and identify upselling opportunities.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Address client concerns and coordinate with operations teams to ensure excellent service delivery.
Market Research & Strategy:
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
- Conduct market analysis to identify emerging opportunities and target markets.
- Provide recommendations for new catering services, menu offerings, and business expansion initiatives.
- Develop strategic partnerships with event planners, corporate organizations, schools, hospitals, and government agencies.
Proposal & Contract Management:
- Prepare quotations, tenders, bids, and service contracts.
- Coordinate responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Invitations to Tender (ITT).
- Ensure all agreements align with company policies and profitability goals.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and business opportunities.
Reporting & Performance Management:
- Track sales performance and prepare regular business development reports.
- Maintain and update CRM systems and sales pipelines.
- Analyze sales data and forecast future business opportunities.
- Present progress reports and strategic recommendations to management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, Sales, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably within the catering, hospitality, food service, or event management industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and securing high-value contracts.
- Strong business development and sales skills.
