The Business Development Manager will drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and increasing adoption of event access management and digital ticketing solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share. 
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across corporate and social event markets, including conferences, weddings, concerts, and corporate gatherings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring solutions are tailored to their event objectives.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to inform business strategy.
  • Prepare proposals, pricing structures, and lead contract negotiations, ensuring smooth handover to the operations team after deal closure.
  • Represent the client at networking events, exhibitions, and meetings, promoting the organization as a trusted provider of event access solutions.


 Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 4–7 years of experience in business development, B2B sales, or event technology solutions.
  • Proven track record of meeting revenue targets and managing client relationships.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience selling SaaS or digital platforms.
  • Familiarity with the event management industry.
  • Existing network in the corporate Lagos market.


Key Performance Indicators:

  • Achievement of monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
  • Number of new clients acquired.
  • Client retention and satisfaction.
  • Conversion rate of leads to confirmed clients.
  • Adoption and usage growth of digital ticketing solutions.
