Business Development Manager
Job summary
We are seeking a Business Development Manager responsible for the end-to-end creation, commercialisation, and growth performance of traditional financial products across Alert Group’s subsidiaries. Owns the full commercial lifecycle from concept to launch, revenue expansion, optimisation, and profitability, working closely with Digital, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Finance, and Sales teams.

Responsibilities:
Market & Competitor Intelligence:
- Monitor competitor offerings and pricing models
- Identify market gaps and opportunities
- Provide structured intelligence briefs to the Group CEO
Product Ideation & Structuring:
- Develop and enhance traditional financial products
- Define value propositions, pricing, and eligibility criteria
- Align products with strategy, risk appetite, and regulatory frameworks
Business Development & Revenue Growth:
- Drive go-to-market strategies
- Support product penetration and adoption
- Identify partnership and expansion opportunities
- Monitor revenue performance and accelerate growth
Product Lifecycle Ownership:
- Concept & approval
- Structuring & pricing
- Launch & performance monitoring
- Commercial optimisation
Profitability & Governance:
- Track revenue and contribution margins
- Reposition, scale, or withdraw products where required
- Ensure complete documentation and regulatory compliance
Strategic Advisory:
- Act as product and commercial advisor to the Group CEO
- Develop and maintain a structured product and revenue roadmap
Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years of experience
- Minimum of a BSc.
