Business Development Manager
Job summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our team and drive the B2B sales of our premium event solutions to MSMEs, startups, and large organizations. You will oversee the sales and marketing funnel, from generating leads and building brand awareness to closing deals and maintaining strong client relationships
Job descriptions & requirements
- B2B Strategy: Identify and target Brand Managers, Marketing Directors, and Procurement Heads at Tier-1and Tier-2 companies.
- LinkedIn Mastery: Execute high-level social selling and outbound LinkedIn campaigns to secure pitch meetings.
- Cold Outreach: Craft and manage cold email sequences that actually get replies from busy executives.
- Proposal & Pitching: Lead the development of bespoke partnership proposals and present them to potential clients.
- CRM Management: Keep a clean, data-driven record of all corporate leads and deal stages in Zoho.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in B2B sales or corporate account management, specifically targeting MNCs, FMCGs, or Agencies.
- Proven proficiency in LinkedIn Sales Navigator, cold emailing tools (e.g., Hunter.io, Apollo), and CRM hygiene (Zoho/HubSpot).
- Ability to draft sophisticated, bespoke proposals and pitch decks that align with corporate brand objectives.
- An existing portfolio or network of Brand Managers and Corporate Communications heads within the Nigerian market.
- High-level negotiation skills with the ability to navigate complex procurement processes and close multi-million Naira deals.
- Experience managing a long-tail sales cycle where patience and persistence are key to closing high-value partnerships.
- Annual base salary of NGN 2,400,000 (net).
- Monthly Commission of 3-5% for every sale over 5 million naira.
