Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute regional business plans to achieve sales and growth targets.
- Drive market expansion by onboarding new distributors and wholesalers.
- Manage Business Area P&L to ensure profitability and sustainable growth.
- Build and maintain a strong performance culture within the sales team.
- Oversee credit risk management and ensure adherence to company policies.
- Ensure flawless in-trade execution across assigned markets.
- Manage and safeguard trade assets within the Business Development Area.
- Strengthen customer relationships, optimize profitability, and support van sales operations.
- Recruit, train, coach, and manage the regional sales team.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to inform strategic decisions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (MBA is an added advantage).
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in the Wine & Spirits industry.
- Proven record of achieving and exceeding sales targets across multiple territories.
- Strong product positioning and competitive strategy skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Must reside in Lagos State.
