Job summary

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team and drive sales growth across Lagos State. If you have strong experience in the Wine & Spirits industry and a passion for market expansion, we would love to hear from you.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute regional business plans to achieve sales and growth targets.
  • Drive market expansion by onboarding new distributors and wholesalers.
  • Manage Business Area P&L to ensure profitability and sustainable growth.
  • Build and maintain a strong performance culture within the sales team.
  • Oversee credit risk management and ensure adherence to company policies.
  • Ensure flawless in-trade execution across assigned markets.
  • Manage and safeguard trade assets within the Business Development Area.
  • Strengthen customer relationships, optimize profitability, and support van sales operations.
  • Recruit, train, coach, and manage the regional sales team.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to inform strategic decisions.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (MBA is an added advantage).
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in the Wine & Spirits industry.
  • Proven record of achieving and exceeding sales targets across multiple territories.
  • Strong product positioning and competitive strategy skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Must reside in Lagos State.
