Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a business development strategy to grow the company’s client base in the facility management space.
  • Identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities (commercial, retail, corporate clients).
  • Prepare and deliver proposals, bids, and presentations to potential clients.
  • Maintain and deepen relationships with existing clients; explore upselling/cross-selling of services (cleaning, maintenance, security, etc.).
  • Work with operations and service delivery teams to ensure client satisfaction and contract fulfillment.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to refine services and pricing.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management on sales pipeline, performance, and forecasts.
  • Negotiate contracts (terms, pricing, deliverables) with clients.
  • Represent the company in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing & Sales or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in business development/sales, preferably in facility management, real estate, or related service sectors.
  • Proven track record of winning and closing significant contracts.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker, with the ability to develop long-term growth plans.
  • Strong understanding of facility management operations and service delivery.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (G-suite, project management tools, etc.) and Microsoft Office.
  • Highly self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

  • 200k Monthly Salary
  • Commission of 5 - 7.5% of profit sharing depending on the type of business brought.

Location: Ikeja, Lagos


Employment Type: 6-month contract (Subject to renewal if candidate exceeds expectation)


Remuneration: NGN 200,000 monthly plus allowances
