Business Development Manager
Job summary
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building a robust sales pipeline, and securing contracts for the company's fabrication and engineering services. Your goal is to maximize the utilization of our yard and technical resources.

Responsibilities:
- Market Penetration: Identify and target new clients and projects in the upstream, midstream, and downstream oil and gas sector
- Sales Pipeline Management: Generate leads, develop a strong opportunity pipeline, and manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to contract signing.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with key decision-makers at IOCs, NOCs, servicing companies, EPC firms, and others.
- Strategy Implementation: Work with the MD to develop and implement effective sales strategies and market penetration plans.
- Client Intelligence: Monitor industry trends and client needs to position Clarence Land & Marine Services as a preferred service provider.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of proven business development and sales experience in the Nigerian oil and gas industry, specifically selling engineering, fabrication, or construction services
- An existing network of contacts within key oil and gas companies, especially within Port Harcourt and Niger Delta
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work with minimal supervision in the region is a major advantage.
