Job summary
The Business Development Manager will drive revenue growth and strategic expansion for Turbo Energy Limited by identifying, developing, and securing opportunities across its core business segments—Clean Energy & Infrastructure, Smart Metering, Oil & Gas Services, Telecommunications, and Geospatial Intelligence (GIS). This role directly supports the company’s positioning as an integrated provider of energy, engineering, GIS, and infrastructure solutions, helping governments and enterprises improve efficiency, reduce costs, and transition to sustainable energy systems.

Responsibilities:
Strategic Business Growth:
- Identify and pursue large-scale opportunities in: Smart metering and energy distribution projects; Solar, hybrid, and renewable energy systems; EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) projects; GIS and data-driven infrastructure solutions; Oil & gas engineering and consultancy services
- Develop and execute market entry and expansion strategies across public and private sectors
- Drive revenue growth aligned with company targets and long-term strategic goals
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:
- Build and manage relationships with: Government agencies and regulators Utility companies and distribution firms, Industrial and commercial clients, International partners and OEMs
- Position the company as a preferred partner for energy, infrastructure, and technology projects
- Lead negotiations, contract structuring, and deal closure
Solution Sales & Proposal Development:
- Develop customised proposals for: Smart metering deployments and AMI solutions, Renewable energy and hybrid power systems, Energy efficiency and cost-optimization solutions, GIS and infrastructure intelligence services
- Collaborate with technical teams to design client-specific solutions
- Prepare bids, tenders, and technical-commercial documentation
Market Intelligence & Industry Engagement:
- Monitor trends in: Energy transition and renewable adoption, Power distribution reforms and regulations. Infrastructure and digital transformation (GIS, telecoms)
- Conduct competitor analysis and identify differentiators
- Represent the company at industry events, regulatory engagements, and partner meetings
Partnerships & Ecosystem Development:
- Identify and onboard strategic partners, including global technology providers and local collaborators
- Strengthen alliances that enhance delivery capacity and innovation
- Support joint ventures and consortium bids for large-scale projects
Pipeline & Performance Management:
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline across all divisions
- Track opportunities from lead generation to contract execution
- Provide regular reports on revenue forecasts, deal status, and market insights
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Revenue growth across business segments
- Value and volume of contracts secured (EPC, metering, energy solutions, etc.)
- Number of strategic partnerships established
- Bid success rate (tenders and proposals)
- Market expansion into new sectors or regions
- Client acquisition and retention rates
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Energy Management, or related field (MBA is an advantage)
- 7–12 years of experience in business development within: Energy / Power / Utilities, Oil & Gas, Infrastructure or Engineering services
- Strong understanding of: Smart metering systems and energy distribution, Renewable energy solutions (solar and hybrid systems), EPC project cycles and government contracting
- Proven experience managing large-scale B2B or B2G deals
- Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and proposal development skills
