Job Title: Business Development Executive

Locations: Lagos, Ibadan, and Abuja

Remuneration: Negotiable

Work Structure: Monday - Saturday

Work hours: 9 am - 6 pm, (9 am - 3 pm Saturday)

Reports to: Business Development Manager / Sales Manager


Job Summary

The Business Development Executive is responsible for generating new business opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and supporting the company’s overall growth strategy. The role involves market research, lead generation, and collaboration with internal teams to meet revenue targets.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and market research
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company targets
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for growth
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and sales pitches to clients
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to maximize revenue
  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, and finance teams to ensure client satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions
  • Attend industry events, meetings, and conferences to expand business networks


Key Requirements & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or a similar role, preferably 4 years.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office tools

  • Number of new clients acquired
  • Revenue growth and sales targets achieved
  • Lead conversion rate
  • Client retention rate
  • Market expansion success
