The Business Development Executive is responsible for acquiring new clients, mobilising deposits, generating loans, and ensuring the bank’s financial growth. The role requires strong sales, relationship management, and risk assessment skills to enhance the bank’s market presence and profitability.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to attract and retain deposits from existing and new clients.
- Implement effective deposit generation campaigns, monitor deposit trends, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to deposit generation.
- Assess the creditworthiness of clients and structure appropriate loan products.
- Ensure compliance with risk management policies while achieving targeted loan disbursement levels.
- Develop and implement strategies to acquire new clients and grow the customer base.
- Identify potential clients, create targeted marketing campaigns, and establish robust sales processes to attract and onboard new customers.
- Cultivate long-term relationships with clients by providing personalized financial advice, excellent customer service, and timely response to queries and concerns.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their financial goals and offering tailored solutions to help them achieve their objectives.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless client onboarding, efficient risk assessment, and successful implementation of marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate with team members to create a cohesive and client-centric approach to relationship management.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and industry developments.
- Recommend innovative solutions to improve competitiveness and product positioning.
- Ensure compliance with CBN and regulatory standards in all operations.
- Provide the Team Lead with regular reports on sales activities, pipeline, and revenue forecasts.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Minimum of an HND
Key Performance Indicators (KPI):
- Grow deposit portfolio by NGN 50million monthly.
- Grow the loan portfolio to NGN 80 million monthly while ensuring quality risk assets are created.
- Acquire and retain at least 70 clients monthly.
- Maintain a high customer satisfaction score through excellent service delivery.
- Facilitate at least two cross-departmental initiatives per quarter that enhance sales effectiveness or customer experience.
- Ensure 90% of collaborative action plans are implemented within agreed timelines.
- 100% submission & presentation of MPR before deadline
- Provide periodic reports on market trends, competition, and growth opportunities.
- Ensure 100% compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements
