Job summary
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for driving business growth in the corporate sector through strategic client relationships and professional garment solutions. This role involves client acquisition, lead generation, and implementing sales strategies to expand the customer base

Responsibilities:
Key Account Management:
- Develops and sustains solid, trustworthy relationships between major key accounts and SKLD
- Resolves client issues and complaints in a timely fashion to avoid delays and customer dissatisfaction
- Develops a complete understanding of key account needs
- Anticipates key account changes and improvements
- Manages communications between key clients and the internal team
Revenue Generation & Sales Management:
- Implements strategies towards improved sales
- Collaborates with various stakeholders to develop sales-boosting, customer-attracting, and customer-retaining efforts.
Lead generation & Client On-boarding:
- Conducts periodic market scanning to identify and engage prospective clients
- Follows company guidelines for registering new clients and updating the client database for client tracking
- Maintains a healthy lead generation pipeline through cold calls, referrals, and networking.
- Contributes to a seamless and delightful client onboarding process
Client Service Management:
- Facilitates prompt delivery of supplies to meet customer timelines
- Provides feedback to the internal stakeholders on any issues or dissatisfaction from products/services received by customers, and seeks ways of rectifying them
- Follows up with customers on their specifications and provides accurate goods/services as required.
- Provides timely response to Customers’ requests for Quotations and Tenders
- Enlightens clients and customers on the company’s products and services
- Supports and advises clients on product usage to increase customer satisfaction
Stock Control:
- Follows up with the Procurement department to ensure sufficient stock is maintained.
- Advises the Procurement team on the latest products and brands in the market to inform purchasing decisions
- Coordinates stock control operations with warehouse staff, as well as the sales and finance departments.
- Analyzes supply chain data to ensure the uninterrupted availability of stock.
- Forecasts supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out-of-stock (OOS).
- Evaluates vendors' and suppliers’ offers and negotiates profitable purchase prices.
- Places and receives orders to replenish stocks as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- Minimum of a BSc.
