Responsibilities:
Revenue Generation & Market Expansion:
- Drive end-to-end sales pipelines across both products off-take (BSF meal, oil, frass) and SaaS/ESG solution offerings.
- Pitch, negotiate, and close long-term, high-volume supply and offtake contracts with enterprise clients, commercial feed millers, large-scale poultry/aquaculture farms, and agro-distributors.
- Commercialize our digital sustainability suite, enabling clients to track their organic waste
conversion, carbon offset data, and Scope 3 emissions in real time.
Strategic Feedstock Sourcing & Partnerships:
- Map, target, and acquire high-volume organic waste feedstocks from FMCGs, breweries, food
processing units, agricultural processors, and municipal waste hubs. - Structure commercial agreements (including tipping-fee structures and long-term waste diversion
contracts) to maintain maximum operational capacity across processing facilities. - Establish strategic relations with municipal bodies and state waste management authorities (e.g., LAWMA) for public-private partnerships (PPPs).
Consultative Selling & Technical Product Demonstrations:
- Present technical evaluations, feed conversion ratios (FCR), and amino acid profiles of BSF protein/oil to animal nutritionists, feed formulation chemists, and farm managers.
- Structure and oversee product trials with mid-to-large farms and feed mills to prove product efficacy, ROI, and cost savings over conventional inputs (fishmeal, soybean meal, chemical fertilizers).
Digital Platform & ESG Client Onboarding:
- Onboard corporate enterprise partners onto the company's SaaS platform to enable real-time monitoring of waste diversion, circularity metrics, and ESG/sustainability reporting.
- Translate client sustainability goals into tailored commercial packages combining bio-product procurement with digital ESG verification.
Pipeline Management & Market Intelligence:
- Maintain accurate lead tracking, deal stages, contract terms, and client interactions using the corporate CRM platform.
- Monitor macro trends across the agricultural, waste management, and carbon markets in Nigeria (including FX shifts, raw material price fluctuations, and regulatory changes) to refine go-to- market strategies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Agribusiness, Biotechnology, Environmental Science, Agricultural Economics, or a related discipline.
- 3–6 years of proven B2B sales and business development experience, preferably within agribusiness, commercial feed production, SaaS/Enterprise technology, waste management, FMCG supply chain, or circular economy sectors in Nigeria.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Off-Take Revenue: Tonnage and monthly recurring revenue (MRR) generated from BSF meal, oil, and frass sales.
- Feedstock Tonnage: Volume (metric tons) of organic waste secured through long-term corporate/municipal supply contracts.
- SaaS/ESG Adoption: Number of corporate clients onboarded onto the digital ESG tracking platform.
- Trial-to-Contract Conversion: Success rate of converting farm and feed mill trial runs into binding, multi-year commercial off-take agreements.
Technical & Functional Competencies:
- Prospect, negotiate, and close high-value B2B enterprise deals while securing multi-year supply and procurement agreements.
- Demonstrated experience in consultative tech sales, corporate sustainability/ESG frameworks, or tech-enabled supply chain platforms.
- Strong understanding of agricultural inputs (protein sources, animal nutrition, organic fertilizers) or industrial organic waste streams.
- Hands-on experience managing pipelines through standard CRM software (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, etc.).
Behavioral Competencies & Soft Skills:
- Resourceful & Resilient: Comfortable navigating complex local market dynamics, supply chain constraints, and infrastructure realities in Nigeria.
- Agile Communicator: Capable of communicating effectively with corporate C-suite executives, farm managers, local waste collectors, and technical nutritionists.
- Analytical Mindset: Comfortable using operational data, sales metrics, and sustainability analytics to build customer business cases.
