Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Prospecting:
- Research target markets, industries, and prospective customers.
- Utilize cold calls, emails, and social networks like LinkedIn to connect with key decision-makers.
- Evaluate prospects to determine their needs and fit for the company's products or services.
Client Relationship Management (CRM):
- Prepare and deliver tailored presentations, proposals, and pitches to potential clients.
- Address client inquiries, negotiate contract terms, and close deals to meet revenue goals.
- Nurture both new relationships and existing customer accounts to encourage upselling and referrals.
Market Intelligence & Strategy:
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify profitable new niches.
- Work closely with the marketing, product, and legal teams to align sales strategies and ensure smooth deal execution.
- Maintain highly accurate, up-to-date prospect databases and activity logs using CRM software.
Requirements:
- OND, bachelor’s degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field.
- Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in business development or senior sales roles, preferably within furniture, household items, or interior design.
- Proven track record of closing high-value deals and driving market growth.
- High level of self-motivation and target orientation
- Strong business acumen with exceptional negotiation and deal-closing abilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to execute actionable sales plans.
- Self-motivated, resilient, and highly target-driven.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms.
- Professional demeanour, high emotional intelligence, and strong interpersonal skills.
