The Business Development Executive will lead efforts to expand the company’s market presence, secure strategic partnerships, and drive consistent revenue growth for its premium furniture products.

Responsibilities:

Lead Generation & Prospecting:

  • Research target markets, industries, and prospective customers.
  • Utilize cold calls, emails, and social networks like LinkedIn to connect with key decision-makers.
  • Evaluate prospects to determine their needs and fit for the company's products or services.

Client Relationship Management (CRM):

  • Prepare and deliver tailored presentations, proposals, and pitches to potential clients.
  • Address client inquiries, negotiate contract terms, and close deals to meet revenue goals.
  • Nurture both new relationships and existing customer accounts to encourage upselling and referrals.


Market Intelligence & Strategy:

  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify profitable new niches.
  • Work closely with the marketing, product, and legal teams to align sales strategies and ensure smooth deal execution.
  • Maintain highly accurate, up-to-date prospect databases and activity logs using CRM software.


Requirements:

  • OND, bachelor’s degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in business development or senior sales roles, preferably within furniture, household items, or interior design.
  • Proven track record of closing high-value deals and driving market growth.
  • High level of self-motivation and target orientation
  • Strong business acumen with exceptional negotiation and deal-closing abilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to execute actionable sales plans.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and highly target-driven.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms.
  • Professional demeanour, high emotional intelligence, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Good planning and organizational abilities
  • Great time management
