We are seeking a Business Development Executive to drive business growth by acquiring new clients, expanding market reach, and developing strategic partnerships within the shipping, freight forwarding, and logistics industry.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities in international shipping, freight forwarding, customs clearance, and logistics services
  • Generate leads and convert prospects into long-term corporate clients
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with importers, exporters, manufacturers, distributors, and key industry stakeholders
  • Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals, quotations, and presentations
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and service terms with clients
  • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities
  • Manage key customer accounts and ensure retention through excellent relationship management
  • Monitor sales performance and prepare business development reports and forecasts
  • Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and industry best practices


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or HND in Business Administration or a related field
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within the shipping, freight forwarding, or logistics industry
  • Strong knowledge of international shipping, freight forwarding, customs clearance, import/export processes, and supply chain operations
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Proven track record of achieving sales and revenue targets
  • Strong client relationship management and networking abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts
