Business Development Executive

We are hiring a Business Development Executive responsible for driving business growth through strategic partnerships, lead generation, and revenue opportunities.

Responsibilities:
Business Development & Lead Generation:
- Identify and target high-value companies and decision-makers
- Generate qualified leads through outreach, networking, and referrals
- Build a consistent pipeline of business opportunities
Partnership Development:
- Establish strategic partnerships with organizations, platforms, and networks
- Create collaboration opportunities that drive revenue and visibility
- Manage and nurture partner relationships
Revenue Growth:
- Convert opportunities into paying clients
- Support deal structuring and negotiations
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure deals are closed
Market Expansion:
- Identify new markets, industries, and growth opportunities
- Develop strategies to penetrate and dominate target segments
Pipeline & Reporting:
- Track all leads, opportunities, and partnerships
- Provide weekly updates on pipeline value and progress
- Maintain accurate reporting of activities and results
Daily Expectations:
- Outbound outreach (LinkedIn, email, calls, referrals)
- Prospect research and targeting
- Meetings with potential partners and clients
- Follow-ups on all active opportunities
- Pipeline updates and reporting
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Monthly revenue target contribution
- Number of qualified leads generated
- Number of partnerships secured
- Pipeline value created
- Conversion of opportunities to revenue
Compensation Structure (Strict Performance Model):
- Base Salary: NGN 300,000/month
- Performance Condition: 100% of salary is paid upon achieving at least 60% of the monthly target. Below 60% target achievement, salary is prorated accordingly and 0% performance = no salary
- Individual Target: You will be assigned a monthly revenue/lead generation target
- Commission: Earn 3% – 5% commission on deals generated or influenced by you
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships
- Proven ability to generate leads and create business opportunities
- Strong communication, networking, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to engage senior decision-makers
- Self-driven, proactive, and highly target-oriented
