Job Summary
The Business Development Executive will drive revenue growth by identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities across the Oil & Gas, EPC, Engineering, and Procurement sectors. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in business development, commercial tendering, bidding, proposal development, and client relationship management. The role requires a strategic thinker with solid industry knowledge and a consistent record of closing high-value opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Market Expansion
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in Oil & Gas, Engineering, and EPC markets.
Conduct market and competitor research to identify growth opportunities.
Develop and implement strategies to expand company presence and revenue.
Build and manage a strong sales pipeline from lead generation to deal closure.
Client Relationship Management
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, OEMs, and major industry clients.
Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations.
Resolve client issues promptly and ensure excellent customer satisfaction.
Tendering & Bidding (Commercial & Technical)
Lead the preparation and submission of RFQs, proposals, and tender documents.
Review tender requirements and ensure technically and commercially compliant bids.
Work with Supply Chain and Finance teams on pricing, costing, and bid strategy.
Maintain a tender tracker and manage submission deadlines.
Strategic Partnerships & Vendor Engagement
Identify and onboard relevant OEMs, subcontractors, and technical partners.
Manage vendor registrations, NDAs, and prequalification processes.
Support partnership development for project execution and bid competitiveness.
Revenue & Performance Management
Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Provide accurate sales forecasts and performance reports.
Support commercial reviews, negotiations, and deal closures.
Documentation, Reporting & Compliance
Develop capability statements, commercial documents, and corporate profiles.
Maintain documentation of all BD activities, bids, and client engagements.
Ensure compliance with NOGICD Act, HSE requirements, and internal policies.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields.
5–10 years experience in Business Development within the Oil & Gas or Engineering sector.
Strong hands-on experience with tendering, bidding, and proposal development.
Experience with OEM/vendor engagement and procurement processes.
Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and tendering portals (NIPEX, Ariba, etc.).
Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
Excellent time management and ability to handle multiple deadlines.
